Bedding
The house can sleep up to six adults and two children. There are two double bedrooms, one bunk bedroom, a twin room with ensuite, as well as a bathroom and a shower room. Please can you bring your own bedding and linen. There are duvets and pillows for each bed, all beds are regular sizes. Please take towels and drying up cloths as this helps us keep the cost down. We have a mothercare travel cot available, no bedding.
Amenities
The kitchen has a washing machine / dryer and a line for drying outside. The house is heated by an electric combi boiler. When unoccupied, the heating is set to 8 degrees to prevent freezing. Please adjust the thermostat (in the hall) to suit your needs and leave it at 8 degrees on your departure.
There is wireless broadband in the house. The password for the broadband can be found on the router located on the telephone table in the hall. There is no mobile phone signal in the house, so use broadband to make calls or signal can be obtained up the hill. There is a landline in the house. You are free to use this phone as necessary but please cover the cost if you need to use this excessively.
Guidelines
Up to 2 dogs are welcome but please ensure they stay downstairs using the stairgate if necessary and you keep the garden clear of dog poo. There are three bins nearby in the village, one out side the Post Office, one at the back of the village hall and one at the top of Shute Park in Collaton Road.
The gardener comes fortnightly on a Thursday, so keeping the grass and garden clear on Thursdays would be great.
Please leave the house clean and tidy, as I hope you found it and put out the recycling and rubbish ready for collection on Fridays. There is a welcome booklet in the hall with instructions for recycling (a bit confusing!) and other details, which you might find helpful.
