Food and other items are available in Malborough at a small co-op at the top of the village, open until 10pm. The post office also sells various produce made in the village and close by. Ashby's Store, slightly further along the road towards Salcombe, has a very comprehensive list of food, household and holiday products .

Both pubs are within a 10 minute walk of our house and the Old Inn, in particular, serves excellent food.

The village hall has tennis courts, a large playground, a small skateboard park and an outside gym.

There is a safe walking or cycling path to Salcombe, which is around 2 miles away.
